Introduction

Summer is here, and that means it’s time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine! We know we are.

When you are getting outside, bringing your brand along for the adventure is one of the best ways to get your brand noticed by others. Here are some of our recommendations for branding your adventure so that your brand is noticed and sticks in the memories of your fellow adventurers.

When choosing what products to brand for your adventure, you should always think about this question. What are the products that will get my brand the most impressions?

ASI Central - 2026 Ad Impression Study

According to ASI Central’s 2026 Ad Impression Study, these are some outdoor products that yield deeper impressions.

Drinkware = 1,300

Umbrellas= 2,300

T-Shirts = 3,500

Hats = 4,000 Impressions

Fleece and Jackets = 9,000

Think about the environment you are in and what the use context is for the products. Do you want to give your team gear for a retreat or just to encourage them to go outdoors? Are you attending an outdoor event where you will be giving things away?

If you are attending an event, you may choose a different merch than what you would choose if you are hosting a team retreat. So remember to keep these things in mind when working through what you want to brand. It will save you a hell of a lot of time!

Case Study: Always Adventure Safe with Frank & Morris - For the Utah Department of Tourism.

At Kilby Block Party 2026, there was an activation from the Utah Department of Tourism that encouraged safe adventures. With this activation, the onsite team gave away custom Nalgene water bottles, bandages, sunscreen, and adventure guides, made by yours truly. They also had an opportunity to win an “adventure safe” vacation as well as a photo opportunity.

Early on during the festival, both the bandages and the Nalgene water bottles were all swooped up by eager festival goers.

This is a great example of merch done right and a great way to get high impressions while adventuring in the outdoors.
